Like everyone else, shaper Hugh Brockman watched the clips of Torren Martin riding big cloud break on a longer twin fin and got inspired.

Firstly to go to Cloudbreak himself and secondly to make himself something similar.

At the time Hugh was really enjoying fishes and a big twin seemed like a lot of fun to evolve that feeling with.

Three years on and many generations of Twin Pin later and Hugh has made a very refined, excitingly fast, fluid channel bottom twin fin design.

It trims well from the middle and turns hard off the tail: the genesis of the Twin Pin comes from a variation of his VBM outline with a more pulled-in nose and tail, the bottom shape consists of a slight tee in the nose transitioning into a single concave and a light (not as deep as you would think) four pack of channels through the tail which translates into A LOT OF FUN.

Size wise, Hugh makes the Twin Pin from 6'0 up to 8ft 8.

Smaller lengths have a more pocket rocket feel (great for tube riders), mid size is Hugh's favourite whereas longer lengths tend to have more glide.
